More Family

Micah was so excited to see Dean for the first time.

Dean Jacob Hester

I was able to go down to LA this weekend to see Dean Jacob Hester for the first time. These are some of the first pictures I took from the weekend.

Geo Caching

My mom brought me geo caching for the first time on Saturday. It is a world wide game where people set up a container of some sort and then list the coordinates on line. Then other people try to go find the container by using the coordinates given. You need a hand held GPS device. It was fun. Mom left her signature item in the box that we found. We also listed our names on the paper in it. Someone else had been there about a week before us. I would love to go again.

My Three Favorite Things

Sarah Budd tagged me for this a while back so after some reflection...

1. Waking up in the morning to Micah saying "Mama, mama", taking Micah back to bed with Jeff and I to hang out, and then just playing and doing nothing all morning except for maybe some french toast or pancakes.

2. Sleeping. I LOVE sleep. I have almost always loved sleep. I think this was the hardest thing for me adjusting to life with a kiddo. I can't just sleep anytime I want to anymore or as long as I want to.

3. Reading a really good book. I LOVE to read. Especially a good book. That is one of the best ways to relax for me.

Staying Cool

We have been trying to stay cool today and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter.

First we had to eat some icecream.


Then we had to get our feet wet.





I hope tomorrow isn't too hot.
