Camping
A few months ago Jeff and I bought a new tent and we waited all summer to try it out. We went camping Sunday to Tuesday with some friends of ours and had a lot of fun. Micah along with Jim, Michelle's husband and their two kids had never been camping before. They seemed to all have a really good time.
Setting up. Notice the box between Jacob and Natasha. Micah had fun being put in it until Jacob let go and poor Micah fell straight back and hit his head on the ground. We were so lucky he didn't hit a rock. They didn't do that again but honestly Jacob and Natasha were really good with the younger kids and played with them and helped them a lot.

We went for a hike. Most of it was nice when it was shaded although there were a few spots it was pretty hot. The kids were troopers and did great.

What was the best part about camping?
Micah was so tired on the way home but had a blast. I so want to go camping again soon.

I can't wait to take our girls camping, although it probably won't be until next summer. Looks like a great time!
