Micah - 10 months
Micah has gotten very good at throwing food over the side of his high chair. He loves to hear it hit the ground, look for it then watch as his parents pick it up. I don't love it so much. He also still loves to mash his food in his hands and on his face and hair. Good times.
One of Micah's favorite snack foods are rice cakes. He loves the satisfying crunch that they make when he bites into them. I almost sound like a commercial for rice cakes. : )

i like the broom/mop handily located right behind his chair. he'll quit someday.
you're probably not, but it helps if you don't pick up what he drops right away. kinda like if you drop it you lose it kinda thing. and then its not as entertaining to watch you pick it all up at the end.
zai got so bad I started taking all of his food if he started chucking it. and just doling out one piece at a time.
Emily is doing the same thing--kind of a "mommy fetch"--and I'm thankful for Sarah's advice. I've been doing the one at a time thing, which works about half of the time.

I do wait for a while before I pick it up but it doesn't seem to help much. I just start to give him one or two at a time like you guys do. Like all phases this one too shall pass.
lol well i love rice cakes too hehehhehe and bananas lol the wave is getting pretty good heehhehe
He's getting so big. I can't wait to see you guys in just a few days.
